To train dancers in Irish step dancing.
To develop stage presence, confidence in performing, and strength of character in the dancers.
To be an outreach ministry to our community and the surrounding area.
To provide enjoyable entertainment for people through Irish dancing.
Kaleena Marshall is the Artistic Director of Maolisa Irish Step Dance.
Kaleena was home schooled, graduating in 2001. Kaleena has completed her studies at the University of Iowa as a Dance Major.
Kaleena has danced Classical Ballet for 17 years, also teaching for the last 8 years.
She has also danced Irish Step Dance for the past 9 years and taught Irish for 6 years.
In the past, Kaleena has performed Irish Step Dance in Minnesota,
Missouri, and Iowa at fairs, festivals, concerts, and many other
venues.
Kaleena has also trained in Jazz, Modern, and Tap. In her spare time she plays and teaches flute and tin whistle.
